I am sorry I ever contracted Express Estate Agency to sell my house.
They state that they will sell the property within 30 days, didn’t happen.
I was told that my house would be allocated to one person to deal with and he would not be given another house to sell until our home was sold, not true.
We explained that we felt the asking price was a fair one and didn’t wish to reduce it.
On three successive days we were telephoned by the same employee who strongly advised to drop the price if we wanted viewings.
The last straw was been told by EEA that a lady wanted to view our property despite our contract having expired a week before.
( EEA was informed by myself of the date of expiry and eventually acknowledged after several requests to do so)
I was advised that I could still agree with the viewing but I declined saying I did not want to risk being charged by two estate agents.

Received a letter from ExpressOffers (ExpressOffersToday.co.uk) offering to buy my house. Tried to phone them, after hanging on as they were busy I was told to leave my details and they would get back to me within 24 hours. After receiving no call-back I called them again and it was exactly the same outcome, leave details, will get back to you within 24 hours, didn’t happen! As a last resort I went to their website and entered my details again for a call-back within a minute and an arranged booked slot with a consultant. I got the automatic call-back within a minute which directed me to exactly the same procedure, leave details, will get back to you within 24 hours, and again it didn’t happen! Finally when the pre-arranged call with the consultant never happened I decided to check up on them and it led me to here.
Personally I think they are a data harvesting company that collect personal details to sell on.
On that basis I would avoid at all costs.
Samantha was professional and well-trained in her spiel. However, the “guarantee to make an offer on your property” is almost impossible to effect since a condition is that the homeowner must vacate within 7 days after accepting 80% of market value.
The verbal offer to list for 30 days and, if no sale, to cancel the agreement for sale on 28 days notice is contradicted by the written sale agreement which does not discuss termination but “gives exclusive rights to sell for 16 weeks”. And Judges defer to written documentation. The oral statement and written documentation do not match.
