There are predictions of a slow property market for the UK at the start of 2017.
The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) has warned that property transactions have slowed since the spring. They also suggest that any upturn in the new year would be “modest”.
Halifax has echoed the warning, suggesting that house price growth is also likely to slow in the coming months.
How to sell your house in a slow property market
Danny Luke, Quick Move Now’s managing director, commented:
It’s always challenging to sell a house fast in a slow property market. The largest problem facing the UK property market in 2017 is the lack of property available.
This has been brought about as a result of wider economic uncertainty. If you find a desirable property in a slow property market it’s likely that there will be stiff competition. In order to secure the property you should make yourself as attractive as a buyer as you possibly can. One of the best ways to do that is to make yourself chain-free.
A guaranteed cash house sale to Quick Move Now will make you a chain-free buyer without the hassle of having to sell your existing property in advance of finding somewhere new. The purchase of your existing property will be arranged for a date of your choice and because the purchase is guaranteed there’s no danger of you becoming one of the 31% of house sales that fall through before completion on the open market.
If you’re keen to move in the new year, there’s only one way to guarantee the sale of your existing property, and that’s with a sale to a genuine cash home buyer. Here at Quick Move Now we buy any house fast!
