Research by Quick Move Now, the UK’s largest home buying company, has revealed a generally encouraging picture of house prices UK, with many regions reporting both increased sales prices and number of sales. Confidence appears to be on the up even in the Northern regions which were worst hit post recession.

With the new Conservative government in power, the national property market looks set to continue to improve with focus on Help to Buy and mortgage guarantee schemes.

Danny Luke, Managing Director at Quick Move Now, commented:

Our research has uncovered some encouraging statistics, certainly in terms of the number of properties now being bought and sold.

Prices have yet to return to their pre-recession levels, and some areas remain deeply affected by the fallout of the recession, but as we see the number of property sales continue to increase, the market will undoubtedly continue to strengthen.
