Property part exchange is the process of exchanging your existing home as part payment for a new property. Part exchange allows you to buy a new build or a second hand property. Pioneered by Barratt Homes, part exchange was for many years only offered by larger builders such as Redrow, Persimmon and Taylor Wimpey but with many restrictions.

Part exchange – do you need it?
